Was not Iran part of the Arabian Slave Trade? As someone who has Jewish blood it is unfortunate that antisemitism was prevalent throughout the west for centuries, but this problem is no where near as bad as it was even 40 years ago. I'd also have to say that the Iranian theocracy is currently persecuting the Iranian Bahai, gays, irreligious, political dissidents, women, and journalists.
