Severn Suzuki speaking at UN Earth Summit 1992

Raised in Vancouver and Toronto, Severn Cullis-Suzuki has been camping and hiking all her life. When she was 9 she started the Environmental Children's Organization (ECO), a small group of children committed to learning and teaching other kids about environmental issues. They were successful in many projects before 1992, when they raised enough money to go to the UN's Earth Summit in Rio de Janeiro. Their aim was to remind the decision-makers of who their actions or inactions would ultimately affect. OMG - wow. good for her. Excellent speech. PEople need to hear this, even if we think we are aware of these issues, to see it from a child's perspective. Very effective presentation: so honest!!!!

Those who've participated and furthered the U.N.'s eugenics program should be put on trial for crimes against humanity. Aborticide is a tenet of eugenics as practiced by Hitler's henchmen. The world can easily sustain thrice the current population. The Sub-Saharan countries are the World Health Organization's laboratory for all things fiendish. What a powerful speaker at the age of 12! David Suzuki raised her well, and im amazed at the wisdom in this speech. I wonder if her dad helped her write this.
