I think this is a horrible music choice! Any music would not work because Hans' studies were meant to be silent. He created his films with the main unobstructed subject being the film *itself*. That is what the whole purpose was--*FILM*STUDIE.

i disagree. why not add music if zou feel it makes sense for you. one can always mute. but adding music is like showing your perspective on the work. if your choice is no sound you happen to be of one opinion with richter.
i saw the filmstudie a few times at the exhibition 'geometry of motion' at the moma in new york wher it's being displayed at the moment.
i also chose to add music to my (relatively) poor filming of it. it's my point of view on a piece of art. what's wrong with that?!
