r u sure ???.... cos u must check the lip sink of the actors it is pure tamil.... i don think it is dubbed from telugu i think it is the other way round

the song is originally from a telugu film called 'aakali raajyam'. it was dubbed. but it appears like a tamil film, coz all the actors are the same

The song was originally composed for the tamil movie "varumaiyin niram sivappu" and the story behind this song sequence is legendary - something that actually happened between MSV and Kannadasan. The movie was released in Telugu too. But I am not sure if it was remade or dubbed. If the song scene looks the same then probably it was dubbed.
