Portuguese is a very difficult language for foreigners... Mainly the sound "ão" that almost no foreigner can pronounciate correctly (and unfortunately for the King's Singers, "ão" appears a lot in this song). Plus the text of this song is in 'black' Portuguese so... But I think it was a very good effort.

Excuse me, It's more correct to say: English singing in one Portuguese's dialect. Dr Jorge Matta explains us: 'The text's an imitation of the Portuguese spoken by Negroes - a mixture of Portuguese, Castilian, Creole, and even other languages'.
