one 2.0 and 2.1 version its called "push" or whatever its under wifi in settings

This is old info, you do not need to do this on a 3G iPhone! If you use the gmail icon, it sets up a imap account so this video is not useful anymore

Exactly. On the iPhone 3G, you do not need this IMAP thing. Its so last year..
