Is all anyone can focus on is how young he looks? Big deal. He looks nice, so what, big deal, move on. Doesn't anyone have anything to say about the damned's music and talent, or is everyone being caught up in worshipping beauty and idols? Duh.

I have a couple observations regarding this interview. MANY people have reviewed their shows, including myself. I also don't understand why Dave Vanian is talking so much about Rat Scabies, he's not even in the band anymore. Why doesn't he focus on where the band is NOW and where they're headed? That's much more interesting to me. Dave Vanian's personae is still there, and I still have no idea who he is. He keeps his personal life sliced off like (the no longer standing) Berlin wall.

I agree fully with everyone of you...the damned and dave vanian are absolutely brilliant..by far my favorite band.
