I remember this gorgeous train passing by every week at Larbert Station just outside Stirling. I even sat twice in the cabin and was allowed to shovel some coal into the boiler when I was just a wee lad. The design is still to this day absolutely fantastic and so, so sleek. The only other type to come close in its beauty was the Duchess class. My heart still flutters when I hear the loco approaching in the distance.

I need to make it over to your country one of these days! You guys have mainline steam excursions the likes of which we *used* to have here 20-30 years ago. I have seen the Dwight D Eisenhower as well as the Dominion of Canada before...at the museums in Green Bay and Montreal, respectively.
