"Outsource This" *ing Jason Alexander

Back

A pathetically un-funny rant against hi-tech job outsourcing from the US to low cost countries like India. The Communication Workers of America and Jason Alexander should have outsourced this film to Bombay! After all Bollywood produces more films every year than that town in LA ..whatchamacallit?

Hey, I was just wondering: is this video scripted (i.e. all the kids are actors too)? Or was it a real talk Jason Alexander held some time in the past?

Someone could transcribe what he says in the video to text?, Since I do not speak much English, but I understand why English writing that the voices in the audio or video, and since I thank you very much. Alfredo Martinez, Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Regulations on corporations make them go overseas to avoid complications and less union head aches, less lawsuits, environmental restrictions, etc. Don't protest our government. Protest the governments that don't have these regulations.

Great video.... sad though. I just gained some respect for Jason Alexander.

Jason Alexander did a great job in this video, but what is happening in the US is ...sad, to say the least.

I agree with open market ideas, but I think that _strategic_ thinking would help US (I'm not US). It is ok to outsource in the short term, but long-term, the people you are teaching to do your stuff... will do your stuff. It's enough that the US is losing the powerful position gained after WW2 when everyone was hurt: not the biggest economy, not the greatest military power, movies and music falling out of fashion etc. Advantages are taken, not handed out!

This video does get right to the point. Too bad there are still a lot of people who cover their ears and do sing songs while America is getting flushed down the toilet. to those people I say WAKE UP! CORPORATIONS AND POLITICIANS ARE SELLING AMERICA DOWN THE FUCKING RIVER!

Not only hi-tech jobs go to India. In America, more and more Indian IT "mgr" prefer using their folks, using tricky interview screening process to exclude other well qualify professionals. Surprise?

There of course needs to be protective measures within a market but typically after the basics the less the better. My point is that all the jobs being lost are going to be replaced with different jobs. Only the individual can choose best what to do in this situation. Centralized planning for large problems like this will only stagnate economic development and hinder the natural flow of our growth.
