every single time i hear this song and this version i am crying at the end of it and dont even realize until I am released from it's amazing and mesmerizing grasp. their voices just KILL me. it's incredible. The beauty is indescribable!

i agree with the pop culture garbage part, BUT** some of it is good - that includes the eagles =). and yes the music is just so awesome..i can't stress enough how awe inspiring this song itself is - not to mention the others they've made.

doc watson? who's that? i heard this music was actually a mix of folk and blue grass, coming from the sacred harp and the other makers of cold mountain music etc.,...
this music is beautiful btw, really power stuff - our generation is crazy to not like this kind of music it's just so awe inspiring.
