i think that poster meant a long time ago. rick refused to play it live for a very long time . he use to always say it wasn't a "cheap trick type of song" and it wasn't how he wanted fans to remember them. of course, now, years later, he plays the hell out of that song to milk every cent out of it they can. i do not know who the songwriter was for that song, but cheap trick owe him/her a great deal a gratitude for keeping them alive through the 80's . surrender is "cute", but VERY dated.

You must be on crack. Cheap Trick sucked compared to Hear and Journey. I like Cheap Trick, but the acoustics sucked.

I was at the Cheap Trick/Heart/Journey concert at San Diego and I thought Zander sounded great. Without a doubt the best band out of the three.
