Steve actually achieved fame at an early age! He was written up as a child prodigy at the age of two and a half years. He had a collection of over 100 Big Band record, and operated his own phonograph.

Umm...Vaughnbig. His music and compositions will always live on and exert their influence over anyone who listens to them. Although it is regretful that he hasn't received the same widespread fame that other composer/pianists have attained. At least his tunes are all over the real book!

Steve Kuhn is so impressive as a piano player. I wish guys like him could live on for a long time and exert some influence over the younger jazz musicians.

Wow!!! thank you very much for this beautiful video of a piano master...GREAT STEVE KUHN!! In my opinion second only to Bill Evans.
