Just saw the film this evening in Vancouver, BC (Canada). It's being reshown this week after its first screening in the Vancouver International Film Festival a few weeks ago. Such a moving journey--a homecoming is a familiar theme, but it is lived through the fresh perspective of each performer. Youssou is amazing. The music? Absolutely FANTASTIC!!!

Return to Goree of course. Check this out. Youssou N'Dour is gonna play this friday in Lafayette St in NYC. It's gonna be an accoustic show.
