If the people looses their right to bear arms it leaves only one with the weapons(the GOVT!)that would then control everything and everyone,worst than what we have right now,much worst.Simple,if we let them succeed to take our guns away N.America,whatever they want with us, they'll get it! We must fight to keep our guns and also try not to use them at the same time!! "Hate begets hate" Lets all try to remember that.

it means that the guns were for the people not for the state gun control is handwaving gun control does not stop bullets, does not stop guns from firing, does not stop people from entering your home, does not stop people from pulling the trigger GUN CONTROL DOES NOT STOP PEOPLE FROM BUYING A GUN

No your right, it doesn't stop any of those things. But it does slow them down. Look at Japan. With their gun control laws they have an average of less than 200 violent crimes involving a handgun. In the US there were over 10,000 homicides using handguns. That's just for homicide. I'm sure you see my point.
