Mann has served as co-director (with Ornstein) of the Transition to Governing Project and senior counselor (with Ornstein) to the Continuity of Government Commission.

95% of all paid for advertising is absolute shit and hinders actual discussion.
Robot-callers, Ad hominem attacks, swift boating, pageantry, photo-ops, the "empty rhetoric on a picture" ones, phony radio dramatizations, ad infinitum...
Limit the pr-funds to 10 million public or corporate.
Keep debates on TV, in editorials and on the internet. -Those are good.

public financing of campaigns is horrible. the govt steals from tax-payers to fund their monopoly.
