Is there a way to get an Intel processor in a Powermac G5? I might get one off eBay but I want an Intel for gaming. i will not buy a new mac because they cost too much and I'd have to buy it from apple (and I don't like Apple).

No its not, you would have to go for a MacPro which is Intel based right away. But then again if you do not like Apple why bother going for an APPLE Computer in the first place?

I just wouldnt like to buy from apple. I'll buy from someone else though. But the new macs cost too much. Screw Macs

buy an "open computer" from pystar, the computer Apple is suing. They are cheap, can be upgraded, and can run OS X, Linux, or heaven forbid M$

that's what I was thinking of doing anyway. Psystars are cheaper and better

Yeah, I'm thinking of getting my dad the "Open Lite" pc from pystar... but I'd dual boot OS X along with Ubuntu. Would you know if it has the same support as the one installed with OS X, or would I have to install the blank hackintosh image like with an "ordinary pc", thus not being able to receive Apple updates?

I heard that if u update leopard to 10.5.3, u will receive updates from apple

It's scary that Apple was talking about how wonderful and rosy things were going to be at this point. And then two years later...

uhh when did anyone say in this video or any others "macs are built for gaming"?
