Who's on first?

Abbott and Costello perform the classic "Who's on first?" baseball sketch in their 1945 film "The Naughty Nineties" first performed as part of their stage act. Still find this really funny

Dear Mr. English Teacher: Let. It. Go. Seriously. I'm done having this asinine conversation with you. Everyone else coming here shouldn't have to read you freaking out and me having to defend my opinion about THIS. I'm not even going to honor your NEXT round with a read, so don't bother. Let people enjoy the video without having to read this pointless nonsense.

I'm plenty calm. By the way, Will Ferrell isn't my cup of tea. Maybe you're just upset because they never told us the name of the right fielder.

what is everyone talking about "lay off"???? it was fine!!!!!!

Sorry. English teacher status doesn't impress me. Settle down, English teacher.

Excuse me, but I am a veteran English teacher, and I think I know the difference between a constructive disagreement and being cutting/attacking. "Lay off" was UNNECESSARY! I was NOT attacking you. Apparently someone, one the other hand, has, and you're taking this as if you are being attacked. I don't find Laurel and Hardy as funny, nor do I consider the Smothers Brothers' humor that funny. I didn't freak out. I just disagree RESPECTFULLY! Maybe we can have a Three Stooges Chat if you like them

"Lay off" WAS necessary, as I felt I was being attacked! Second of all, how it "cutting" to ask somebody what their idea of humor is? I'm not ashamed of the things I find to be funny- and I NEVER said I couldn't appreciate some of these guys' work (read nearly every posting I've left on here, including the first). Read what I write before you start freaking out that I 'dissed' your beloved "who's on first" sketch.
