Can someone please explain to me. 1. Why does Obi Wan let himself get killed? 2. Why does his body disappear, as all the pervious Jedi's that died in Ep.2. Their bodies never disappeared? Any ideas please?

In all honesty, I think if the fight had continued Vader would have won. Let's face it, he's stronger and has more time to practice all these years that Obi-Wan has been waiting. Vader had way more flashier and complex moves in the next two movies..? I don't get why he didn't just pull out those movies.

Actually Obi Wan Is Very Powerful and as powerful as Darth Vader Obi Wan let darth Defeat him. I dont know why but obi wan and yoda were the last two surviving Jedi and the most powerful before Obi wan dies.

In this fight and ep3 vader doesnt get through kenobi defence once.He only kills kenobi because he allows him to.Obi wan might not have the flash moves like the windu or Anakin but he got the basic defences spot on.
