Barr may not be a perfect libertarian, but he is head and shoulders above the two establishment parties' candidates. Anyone who flushes their vote down the toilet by choosing between the Demopublicans and Republicrats is a mindless sheep. Those two parties have been eroding our liberties for a century and a half, and brainwashing Americans into believing that they are "alternatives" to one another when they are, in fact, both working towards the same goal, domination through manipulation, of us.

Did you know he vows to repeal the Defense Of Marriage Act? Did you know that he wants to end the federal war on drugs and wants to stop policing the world? Do you know he spent thousands of his own dollars over the last half decade working for libertarian principles?

Did you know Barr was against the Patriot Act from the start? Have you ever read about how he knew it would pass even without his vote and he didn't want it to be permanent so he had to vote for it in order to place the sunset clauses in it so it wouldn't be permanent? The man jumped on the grenade knowing that people would criticize him down the road. Have you seen how hard he has fought to reverse the Patriot Act and how much money out of his own pocket he has spent?

I think bob barr should be president... but with that being said to many americans think they have to vote for either a democrat or republican. Its sad to say but not enough people would vote third party to even make a "dent" in the out come in november. I have voted for all parties in the past.I make my choice on the best man or woman for the job.I think for myself and not because a party told me to but to many americans don't. thanks-johndavid_200707@yahoo

His Senate voting record shows that he's voted against government spending restraint at every turn, drilling for our own energy...basically everything useful that a President could do to look after America in the 21st century. He is a socialist, economically in line with a clown like Nader, and fails to understand that "government IS not the solution to the problem, government IS the problem" (Pres. Reagan).
