I get the feeling that if this were translated into english, it still wouldn't make any sense. I guess everyone goes through that "first video camera" phase?

It does and we have sung similar songs in Whangarei. But the beauty of the "foreign" language has a magic charm, when you read the English translation you realise how simple and venerating the lyrix are.
