Yes...Better hardware = slower in your world. Instead of paying the additional price for a Mac, I could just have someone come to my house and do professional wiring and setting up but I personally am not that lazy. As for malware, one could be careful. I see my non-Mac PC as less likely to obtain malware than many Macs.

A mac is a pc to a extent. It's a personal computer, but its not very personal, because the lack of upgrading, all simmilar models, and not many customization options, so, its more like a....C. Also, they use the same exact technology as a "typical" PC, (mobos,cards) but they jack up the price. Your mostly paying for the OS, one that you can run on a PC fine. Check out rapidshare and torrent sites, you might find a copy of OS10, like I did.

That is not fully true. They have attempted. They launched the Mojave experiment and released SP1. The latter of the two has helped somewhat though probably not to the extent which they wanted it to.

There is a reason why more and more people are buying Apple instead of Dell or PC, even though I will never buy an Apple. Apple has superior marketing. It has chic retail with beautiful looking girls working in them, not to mention friendly. Did I mention they don't cut back on payroll expenses by hiring minorities with FOB-ish accents? FFS - Have you seen the Dell XPS video lately? Sure the computer is great, but don't use a nerdy fat fuck to promote at least...

Do you know why PC always get viruses !? because almost all people in earth use it especially smart programmers ... but Mac is for ... i will not say who ;)

the thing is, a lot of these adverts talk about how easy it is to use a mac... yes maybe so but if you were serious about, say, making movies, you wouldnt use iMovie anyway, you'd use final cut or adobe premiere...so the fact that they have a basic movie making software installed is irrelevent. all i know is im not spending £1700 on a macbook pro when i can get a pc with a better specification and all the software i need for that price.

the only thing worse with macs is the whole game thing, why not just play games on ur 360 or ps3? so much easier. Macs r SOOOO much better in every single other aspect so fuck PC bullshit with freezing and all these cords and taking ages to set up and viruses and HOW SLOW THEY ALL RUN. Macs just work.
