California prepares to desegregate its prisons, prompting fears. With gang members belonging to groups such as the Mexican Mafia and the Aryan Brotherhood, some prison guards worry violence will increase. WSJ's Bobby White reports. (July 2)

it's indicative of the dangerous nature inside the pen that a spokesman for the jail wears a vest just to talk to a reporter.

since most of them will commit crimes again when released from the prison. put them together and kill each others. at least this is a solution to a bigger problem.
