Written "24" songs? You must be kidding... Try hundreds... most with her husband and partner Gerry Goffin. She did have at least 24 top forty hits that she wrote for other artists in the 60's alone. (Prolly what you meant, right?) She was one of the three reigning Queens of Pop in the Brill Building. I love her early 60's solos: It Might As Well Rain Until September & He's a Bad Boy!

Carole King is a wonderful, talented musician. I love this version because it's in the same key as the Carpenters' version. I love both of them, and I own Carole King's single now. Got it for 50 cents yesterday. :)

My mom has a cd with this song on it, i am 14 but love so much old music because of my mom, i am happy to experience other music besides just rap and pop.
