This happened to my older brother, he left when he was like 1, and then came back when he was 19 and I was born, then he left again when I was 10.

Whether he keeps in contact with his kids or not, divorce is very painful for children. You can't argue with that. It's just less painful when the children are still on good terms with both parents, but I wonder how often that really happens...

He got a divorce, fine. Him and his wife didn't make it, that sucks. But what he dose and how much time he spends with the kids is what will matter to them in the end. This song is exsacly what my father did to me and my mother, and if he did more then sending b-day cards, I wouldn't be so hurt cause I would know he really cared.
