Well then how about Ted Bundy or some other unconscious serial killer. Maybe that type of person should come around again and know what it is like to play the tortured victim. Call this karma debt or, what goes around may come around. If your sixth sense or intuition is aware this can help to avoid such situations.

I personally believe in God, but I believe that suffering is a result of human evil (not necessarily the person's own however, for example if a person was killed their suffering was caused by the killer's evil.). Anyways I think that God allows evil to give people options, you have probably heard of this before, it is called the free will arguement.

Go back two weeks and review what I said. I said maybe you could have astral projected into a lucid dream. Like Ramakrishna was able to do in trance. Under the guidance of spiritual teachers he was led beyond the "God with form" to the formless Absolute, or Brahman, in which his soul merged. On many occasions Ramakrishna's disciples and devotees saw him in the ecstatic state of Samadhi, or absorption in God. He also spoke of his incorporation into the essence of Jesus Christ and Allah.

Irony. You guys are just as bad as the most zealous bible basher out there. Faith in the non-existence of god can be just as much of a corrupting factor as blind religious fervour, though perhaps slightly less destructive overall. In the end, those who can put such silly business behind them and invest energy purely into leading good, happy lives have the most positive affect on the world. We may also, for example, watch a music video without shitting up the comments with our retarded preaching.

This is old. I'm pulling a Lily and am going to throw down a gauntlet in addition to it however. If you can produce some evidence for any outrageous statements you claim, I may listen. Elsewise, this is over and you've accomplished nothing but the chance to run your mouth. You believed I could have conversed with Jesus at a Taco Bell once so I seriously suggest psychiatry again. Your divorce did have some affect on how you think and this wasn't for the better.

You continue to, despite my asking you to not bring up my age do it again. What hostility? The only thing you're doing to anger me is repeating your same fallacious ideas over and over again. Then you go so far as to almost arrogantly assert I am unsure of my beliefs. When the fuck did brown rice allow for mind reading? This is an incredibly naïve thing to say. You could really be of help by putting guilty people behind bars and getting innocent people out if you had this trick.

Thank you, Coda, your citations only help if I know which edition you're using. Atheism: 2 a: a disbelief in the existence of deity, Merriam Webster's 11 Collegiate Dictionary. To be honest, WorldNet has a slightly closer definition to the truth: S: (n) atheism (a lack of belief in the existence of God or gods) Atheism is simply a lack of a belief. Denial of RELIGION seems okay to use the word deny. Most atheists won't claim they KNOW there is no god, however.

Ancient philosophy from India for example had many different Gods. Why? Because they saw everything as God. Hence the Sun God, Moon God, Wind God, Rain God. They had many different names for all the many different Gods or energies that were in control of nature and or the universe. I don't care about your tooth-fairy or leprechaun reference because why would those two examples be in charge of some kind of divine intervention. Lets just stick with the title Guardian Angle Spirit for that job.

So I guess a tiny invisible guardian angle spirit on someones shoulder is also out of the question for an atheist/agnostic mixed type person to believe in. I only referred to your age after you were already first in your display of frightened hostility. This is typical behavior from young males who are unsure of their beliefs. You my friend were always first to lash out with insults or hostility in your frustrations towards others.

In the very old wise culture that is ancient China's history, its people most always would claim to be older then they really are. This is because with age comes wisdom. Therefore respect. In contrast American is fixated on youth. But then again we are a very young country aren't we. Atheism according to Websters Dictionary: One who denies the existence of God. Agnostic: of or relating to the belief that the existence of any ultimate reality (as God) is unknown or probably unknowable.
