my mother and my mother's side are from Italy and i'm in the same boat...don't know what precisely she is saying but i LOVE her voice and i LOVE the way she makes me feel when i listen to her JOY-infused voice. bellissima! For 'me' she is an emanation of Mother Africa the birthplace of humanity and if God allows i'm going to travel to see her perform live there somewhere in Africa.
