In an interview, Kuhn said that he was very much influenced by Charlie Parker and then when his brother came back from the USA,by Ornette Coleman; i think Charlie Parker influence is still present in this piece, although is Kuhns own voice.

Brilliant stuff... Kuhn is one of best.. this has a kind of EST vibe to it... would love to hear more from this gig. I have a gig from 1994 with Doldinger where Kuhn is off the wall...

Title is "Guylene" from the "Easy to read" album recorded in June 1985 in Paris, this is the first song. Needless to say, what we see here is pretty much a piece of jazz history written and played by masters.
