Night and Day - Alex and Roxanne

A scene from the UK series Night & Day (2001-2003). One of the main traits of this weird and very original "soap" was its use of fantasy scenes. Some of them were dark and sinister, and some were hilarious. This is a scene from the omnibus episode 97-98-99 (aired on ITV on 20 June 2002). Alex Wells (Joe McGann) and Roxanne Doyle (Lysette Anthony) have been living together for 17 years and have children together, but she has been refusing his offer of marriage until this point. The ending of this scene is a good example of the show's use of camp and irony.

Lysette Anthony is a great actress, it is a disgrace she isn't on EastEnders or something. And she looked a lot better at 40 than say, Madonna.

Ah yea this series was interesting, and different to that boring shit like Coronation and Eastenders. And about Lysettes face, I gotta say she looks good to me and she's sexy ;D
