Back1963 Villiers Mk12/2 finally running well after years of neglect and abuse. When found, many parts were missing or damaged but this little Villiers now lives again! *Made in Wolverhampton, England in 1963 *120cc, sidevalve *1.5HP @ 2800RPM Originally fitted to a concrete compactor

Nice engine, which parts did you replaced? ht lead,exhaust and carb looks imacculate. Idling very good has it got governor? Fantastic restoration, good job.

Thanks for thee positive comments. I had to replace the internal govorner gear and weights, the cylinder head and scource a cooling cowl. Luckily the ignition system just needed a good clean to produce a spark.

Hell pour some sand in that baby while its running,really do it some good and hold the throttle wide open. who needs an old motor ?

Those old motors are great they only have 2 problems, the coils seem to burn out early & it's getting very hard to repair the crankshafts when they wear out
