Stroud has two degrees from OU; his highest degree is a master's in education; from the library catalogue I determined that there is no master's thesis from Stroud; 2. after graduation he was not able to find a professional job and was working as a waiter, until he contacted a friend in the OU housing department and got a job there; 3. later he began to work on his master's degree; 4. as an undergraduate he was once called up for disciplinary action; 5. according to Stroud, Boren puts his arm around him; 6. Stroud says, "Boren is fond of saying that no student could do anything worse than I did as a student." 7. Sooner magazine says that Stroud was an "undergraduate scalawag." How did someone with an undergraduate record as bad as Stroud's get to be a vice-president? Go figure. FOR THE RECORD I have not concluded that Clarke Stroud is queer. I believe that W. Scott Thompson is credible and that his publication describing Boren as homosexual is credible. Further, the evidence in Signorile's book demonstrates that David Boren is the unnamed U.S. Senator described in Queer in America. The former Boren staff member reporting that "the Legislator" chooses young men for staff members because they are sexually appealing to him was telling the truth about David Boren. Both Boren and Stroud are prominent public officials in Oklahoma, and by denouncing them I am exercising a lawful right. Stroud is not qualified to be a university vice-president. The evidence compels the conclusion that Boren chose him for this office because he was sexually attracted to him. In December he pled "no contest" to the criminal charge, was convicted, and given the lenient penalty of a $100 fine and five-month deferred sentence, with no jail time. ADVICE TO BOREN'S HENCHMEN If Obama is actually stupid enough to try to appoint David Boren to a position requiring Senate confirmation, be assured that I'll do my best to contact all members of the committee conducting confirmation hearings to make sure that they know about Boren's unsavory history. I would truly love to see this information brought up in his hearing. It would be the perfect final act to a life of lies and treachery.

The reason your taxes are of issue to me is that I -do- pay taxes in Oklahoma and thus support the library you apparently use daily. If you also pay taxes (or did, but are retired) then the question is moot. But it occurs to me that you might just be some weirdo using free public services to squeeze out municipal conspiracy theories. I think you need to be a productive member of society before you can effectively judge it.

Wow, Mr. Wright, I did not mean to rile you up quite so! I'll drop the gay thing. The "go to hell" comment is a little uncalled for, though I can understand why you're on the defensive given the other sorts of comments you receive here. Given your harsh criticisms of one of Oklahoma's public servants, are you yourself an income tax payer in said state?

You are a liar. It's obvious that your whole purpose with your harassing messages was to annoy me. Now you are triumphally claiming that I am "on the defensive." What rubbish. Give up. I'm not going to apologize for bringing out the truth about Boren's sexual misconduct. The video stays where it is. Boren is the one who is on the defensive. That's why he keeps sending his front men out to pester me. It is none of your business where I pay taxes. Again I say: go to hell, pest.

Mr. Wright, have you considered the possibility that you have so much energy and anger towards crypto-gays because of an inability to come to terms with your own sexual orientation? Many public figures (Haggard, Craig, Foley) turn out to be homophobic precisely because of their own internal orientation issues. If my suggestion provokes much emotion as you read this, it might mean there's something to it. I'm not trying to work you up, just help. Good luck, Mr. Wright!

No. I haven't considered the "possibility" of what you are suggesting with your slanderous insinuation, because it isn't possible. Have you considered the possibility that you are a jerk? What you are attempting [yawn] is a tired desperate tactic which queers have used for years as they have tried to silence and intimidate any normal person who expresses any criticism of ANY homosexual. Mr. Wright, have you considered the possibility that your intense dislike of the "gay agenda" comes from an inability to face your own sexuality? A lot of public figures (Foley, Craig, Haggard) turn out to be homophobes precisely because of inwardly focused hatred at their own sexual orientation. If the above statement summons any powerful reactions from you, my suspicion might be onto something. You might consider consulting one of OU's campus gay organizations for peace of mind.

Are you a member of Boren's queer inner circle? You are attempting to silence my denunciation of Boren's history of queer SEXUAL HARASSMENT. You know that the best way to insult a normal male is to call him a queer. That is what you are doing. All you've accomplished is to put on display your own self-hatred and your deep fear of the truth about Boren reaching a wide audience. I've heard this trash from queers before. You aren't original, but like David Boren, you are certainly disgusting.

As we can see with this message, this woman is a typical incoherent Boren-lover. In the next post she accuses me of "promoting hate." By the way, in the January 2000 issue of the San Francisco gay publication Magnus, I had an article about Boren. One of the magazine's editors was Queer Nation member Michael Petrelis, who took the leadership in outing Boren in 1993 and scaring the old fool so badly that he resigned from the U.S. Senate. Boren has been at OU cavorting like a jackass ever since.
