Hello, regime. We congratulate you on your success at taking down the 711chan servers not once, but twice. It is the hope of many Anonymous that 711chan admins are beginning to get the message and will be bringing server security into a more presentable state. Your motivations for attacking us, however, betray a lack of understanding between our two entities. You claim that your attack was conducted to show Anonymous that we are not 'hackers'. Although it is true that the media enjoys portraying us as such, Anonymous has never made serious claims to this effect. Although it is true that Anonymous occasionally create novel tools for use by Anonymous, the DoSing and exploiting tactics we employ to achieve our ends are quite crude, and cannot in and of themselves be considered 'hacking'. Some Anonymous will, understandably, wish to retaliate against you. However, we have no need to start a full-scale war over a pointless misunderstanding. Indeed, we have experienced similar miscommunications with other groups. However, hostilities were ended after both sides decided that trolls trolling trolls is a waste of everybody's time.
