Do people know what <3 was originally used for? Do you have any idea what it really stands for? I doubt you would be using it the way you are. LOOK AT IT! What does it look like? A penis & testicles! It was originally used for sayings like, I'ld like to <3 that hottie! Reminds of a guy who at the office using Foo-Paw (Spelled for pronunciation) not Faux-Pas for every mistake/broken thing he did. Needless to say he stopped when I explained it. But what do you expect from a guy named Bucky?

I think there are two sides of Twitter. One being the useful bit (where you might update to share exciting, but rather short events) and the other which says a lot about the way in which human relationships are progressing in this technology-age. This tutorial is very insightful and put together, but I think most people rather write a quick blog post than get started on a whole new application. Using Twitter is likely to get users even more addicted to the web. Still, thank you for posting.

i dont get it. so if i need to fart, i turn on my pc, go online. sign on to twitter. then update my page. then fart. and then my friends can see my page and it tells them i farted? who in their right mind uses this?

Twitter is stupid to me. It's IMs for the ADD generation. Those annoying people who sit around always flipping their little crappy cell phones open to see if they have a three or four word text from their friend. People have flipped out. This new shallow thinking trend isn't cool - it's REDICULOUS! I have email that I can send UNLIMITED messages to my peoples to keep them up to date with what matters. I don't need texts to tell them when I cut a fart that smells like burnt chicken!
