This was a great song by Anne Murray. My favorite video from Anne Murray is "Walk Right Back" and they had this video on YouTube with the Muppets. Too bad the picture was not clear in the video.

Smoothdude, I know what you mean. This takes me back to junior high, 7th grade, back in 1970. And yes, times were much better back then. People say it was because I was so young. Not true , life really was easier back then. My Mom and all my Uncles and Aunts now in their 80s agree. Anne Murray's song was a hit and it sure does bring back many, many good memories.

This is the first Anne Murray song that I had ever heard and it was when I was on the road on my way to Canada with my dad oh so many years ago for a vacation. This song will always remind me of that special trip with such nostalgia now that both of my parents have passed away. May Anne Murray bless us with many more years of her exquisite singing of beautiful and inspirational songs.

Its amazing how a song can bring memories flooding back....I know exactly how you feel...Anne Murray was one of my Mom's favorites too and since my parents have passed, whenever I hear Snowbird and that effortless quality that Anne Murray had/has, it always takes me back in time to my youth and good times.

In 93 when I was 13 my father gave me a tape of her best hits. I was hooked! A young Latino from New York city listening to Ann Murray LOL, she was a secret for many years but I am glad my father gave me that tape because I now appreciate classics such as this one...
