you know so many people love to bash us for our marching style and the way we play but you know what? We win with it! Now of course every single cavalier that you will meet is incredibly bias with other corps but that is because we are the best. think about it the people that win now have atleast one person from the cavaliers on their staff. We paved the way for people to march whole shows a 208. we are trailblazers that dont always get the recognition due. That and we have the best brass.

Cool show :-) At Cadets... all we do is just play loud. It's all about Volume. I think we have a lot less technique than other corps. It's kinda like, "play at the appropriate volume until you've pressed the limit of the quality range"

therefore they are the voices that create the sound that you hear. its an upsidedown pyramid starting with tubas then baritones then mellows then trumpets on top. why? because you are going to hear your lows reguardless of how many you have yet they do not give you volume nor do they give you that piercing sound that drum corps fans love. in my opinion the best brasslines ever in drum corps came from the cavies 02 03 and 04. and thats the order i would put them in from best to last.

Man i have to post something to those idiots who think that they know how we work. I am the guy doing the robot in wired 2:13-2:20 anyways. for those who say that we dont play loud you obviously have no musical training on volume or the physics of sound and how volume is created. the low brass do not play with edge in the cavaliers because they are not edge instruments nor do they have characteristic sounds with edge. trumpets and mellows do have characteristic sounds with edge......
