I put together a 100% digital system for under $5,000 BUT itis endless in it's possibilities. Using a laptop with other peripheral devices we can mix up to eight stereo tracks containing 20 sub-clips each (Ableton Live 7) at the same time in perfect sync without the use of headphones. Cheating? There aren't any turntables or CDJ decks - just a Logitech PC gamers' joystick,an X Satation, and a lot of storage space.
