I was your age when I was first exposed to Cat Stevens, and this was in 1973. My father had just passed away, and all of Cat Stevens' music began to mean a lot to me. Check out " Father and Son". It was powerful to me then, having just lost my dad. Now, after losing my 22 year old son, the song truly breaks my heart, but in a way that makes me smile. This is an emotion I pray takes you many years to understand. Don't worry about not knowing why you like the song, just enjoy it.
