Sly was into smoking a lot of pot. He was always high. But he was always very cool and friendly. I met him several times. During the time of this Cavet show, he wasn't into cocaine yet.

Dick Cavett is like someone's maiden aunt compared to Sly. He's such a little bore. No talent himself -- he can't ever even approach Sly in talent, ability, looks, cool factor, not anything.

maybe you should take it before you talk about what it does to you. i don't think he's on acid, but you can DEFINITELY hold regular conversations on it. i've done it, and i've done the other things people have mentioned. he's drunk and maybe had some coke.
