i think i will not waste my time and money with a mac,is almost the same as linux and linux is free, and sucks too,i only use windows because of the games and video editing, but i have linux in my other computer.

It's biased because they don't automaticaly say "vista is excellent". Hmmm....maybe it sucks!

u can't have a free audio/video conversation on a mac.. to use their new iChat, u have to pay for a @mac account.. wtf?
u can only chat with your mates on msn, on a mac, nothing more.. that's one of the reasons I'm not swaping. apple is locking their customers to their products only..

actually you don't have to pay for iChat. You set up a .Mac user and you get 30 days free and then after that your iChat account keeps working forever.

Why are you blaming the shortcomings of MICROSOFT Network Messenger on Apple? They give the Mac version less features than the Windows one because it's on a directly competing OS.

AIM works too. AIM is free.

I always thought it was the other way around.. At least it used to be. Mac OS was always made to be easy to use. With Windows, you have to deal with the registry, un-installers for software, DLLs, etc., whereas Mac OS doesn't have those complexities. OS X does have the BSD layer though, so I think OS X has the best of both worlds; ease of use and a powerful OS.

i dont have to "DEAL" with anything on my PC, i install programs, run them, and uninstall, just as everything should "JUST WORK", and it does.

Most Mac users would laugh at the necessity to uninstall software in Windows (and in Linux too). With a Mac, you can simply delete the application.
And after a while, in Windows, you may uninstall something and then realize that uninstalling that software removed a DLL that another program relied on. So then you have to go find that DLL somewhere and put it in place.
Mind you, I am a longtime Windows user, so I am speaking from experience.
