Inmates sing for better food!

Back

Sheriff Joe Arpaio designed a contest for inmates based on the American Idol show. "Inmate Idle" now has six finalists who will sing LIVE in front of Alice Cooper and Elvis Presley this Friday in Phoenix, AZ.. Winner gets Big Macs and pizza for himself and his fellow inmates rather than the 15 cent meals served daily to inmates.

Jinu187 - I hear what your saying it is wrong, but I imagine this is the best fun they have had for a while. It gives them a chance to focus on something and work towards. He had a great voice too.

for some reason i find this very dehumanizing... a fuckin inmate has to enter a singing contest to enjoy a fuckin big mac and pizza? how about giving it to them once a year..
