Final Fantasy IX Ozma Fight

Read this first if you have any questions! - By completing the friendly monsters side-quest, you will make Ozma weak vs shadow damage (where as Ozma normally absorbs shadow damage). - To fight Ozma you must obtain the "gold" upgrade for your chocobo, fly under one of the small, circular shadows found around the world (they will also appear on the world map which can be seen by pressing select a few times) and using a Dead Pepper. - Thieverys damage is = ((# of successful steals * Zidane's Speed)/2) - I did not get "lucky" when I made this video; having Ozma use Doomsday on its first attack is the only way to beat it in one round and, therefore, it was very much my intention to have Ozma use Doomsday first.

Heh try beating him without doing the sidequest IT IS MUCH HARDER since you can't damage him as much. It's funny when you get him and then see the friendly Yan he is like... you already beat the round guy? or some like that...

Nice job. He has to be the hardest boss ever. You have to get lucky and have the strongest equipment and be at the highest level (which is hard here since leveling up takes a while unlike FF7 and FF8, do the sidequest to have some sort of advantage...) I am guessing you have your players at 99 no? I beat him once at level 76 without the sidequest... He only used curse twice.

I completed FFIX when I was 11-12, well the main story line anyway. Nice to find something to do on a fantastic game again. :P
