Are you going to Scarborough Fair Parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme Remember me to one who lives there She once was a true love of mine Tell her to make me a cambric shirt (On the side of a hill in the deep forest green) Parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme (Tracing of sparrow on snowcrested brown) Without no seams nor needle work (Blankets and bedclothes the child of the mountain) Then she'll be a true love of mine

Ycandass. Learning to use a search engine would be a good start. Wikipedia has a detailed history of this old english ballad which possibly owes its origins to an even older scottish ballad called "The Elfin Knight". You will also find that S & G were introduced to the ballad by english folk songer Martin Carthy as incidentally was Bob Dylan.
