it's called a piccolo bass... you can't just add 2 more strings and make it a guitar...christ!

I play bass and guitar and this is a bass. Musically this instrument IS a bass guitar. It doesn't look like it, and sure as hell doesn't sound like it, but it has certain parts and specifications that literally MAKE it a bass. Whether this guy is a bass player or a speed mastermind is uncertain...but do not mistake this for a 4 string guitar.

joey demaio is really good.And for al those people who say he is crap i'd like to see yous play that on a piccolo bass i mean come on sweep picking on bass that is amazing:) and look how close the strings are, even if it does sound like a guitar strings on a guitar are not that close he is really good:)
