I'm Japanese/Canadian and I wish J-pop singers would stop using English in their songs. Most of them can't pronounce the words correctly, but even more bothersome is the fact that their phrasing is used incorrectly. It would be like me singing an English song and then inserting Japanese phrases with a bad accent and that don't fit. In other words, they should stop trying so hard to imitate western singers.

Well, it's just like one country's language is used by another's, for certain songs. English to them is like French to Americans... It's just because it sends a meaning that they want to convey... no need for it to be gramatically correct.
(Somebody can express this better, but this is pretty much my view on it...)

umm maybe your tryna say that its okay for them to use it because its a way to express themselves and to kinda connect with the other people who dnt completely understand. Sometimes the stuff that makes absolutely no sense touch us the most. Its not imitaion its them trying to be different wanting to send a messege out there..lol i think..its actually beautiful in my opinion but hey thts just me :)

Yeah, that's a really good explanation, thank yas! X3
And it's true--Grammar that's imperfect get the words to state their Blunt meaning the best. =3
