i think there is quite a difference between sending troops to intervene in the darfur crisis, there is a GENOCIDE!!!!!!, and invading a nation for pure economic interests. Your comparison of darfur and iraq is silly at best.

We vote for bacon porn.. Its the same 2 types of people every election. Its stupid to believe that those guys will be different. Its the same election we where fed for the last 24 years. When we have a 3 party system will it be better? When we force all elected people to only be in office max 8 years would that fix the problems we are having today with congress and so on doing nothing? How can a prez be put in court for there crimes to the people? ( in Bills case it was easy )

Dude, I respect you, but you gotta know one thing: We elect McCain by will or some mishap, we go to war with Iran and whomever he feels like dicing. We as Americans have put up with so much garbage over the past 16 years (yes, Clinton, too) you gotta forgive us for vigorously endorsing even the slightest and remote foreign policy change. It has nothing to do with personality. This isn't personal, its methodical. The rest doesn't matter when our lives are on the line.

I understand Pakistan and Darfur. I am not a fucking libertarian, mind you. First of all, if we have to go into the mountains of Pakistan, and the Pakistani gov wont go up there themselves, we will. Obviously we are not going to give up the fight against REAL terrorism. Genocide is tolerable under NO circumstances. There are justifiable wars, then there's occupation. So we probably just have differen't beliefs. I am not gonna fight about it on this thread.

alteredlame666 - We are not powerful enough to police the world, and we prove that again and again. You people don't seem to realize how stupid "War on Terror" sounds. Your waging war against an intangible idea? Let's have a war on stress next, how about that? It isn't any of our business what other countries do. That alone should be a simple enough concept. Not only that, but if we want to start "cleaning up the world" we had damn well better start with our own soil.

I never said "war on terror". That's a line straight outta the administration. You obviously fight war tactically and with intel, not brute force and occupation. I never agreed with - these - wars.
