you ladies obviously didn't see that the bike was warm previous to him starting it. he had 5 bars on his temp gauge which means it was sufficently warm.

Reving an engine with no load and bouncing it off the rev limiter is not the smartest thing you can do with that bike.

Don't know much about engines do you?
If the engine is properly warmed up you can rev it as high as you won't(Not redlining it for 5 minutes or so,to be blunt)
Don't you watch how race engines get warmed up?BTW I'm not talking about formula since that would be a poor argument seeing that they rebuild engines very often!
But doing it on a cold engine isn't the brightest idea though :/
