neither Mrs.Robinson or Mr. Robinson's first names are mentioned in the film.same for Benjamin's parents.this was supposed to have been done to accentuate the generation gap.

The fact my children have this song on their iPod is a testament to the enduring and generation power of this song. My oldest sort of downplays it a little. He says he likes because Joe Dimaggio is mentioned in the song and he thinks that is the coolest thing ever. He tries to act tough.

Your kids are probably around my age, 20-30. I grew up on this too..I'm 23. Grew up with this, The Doors, Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix..all the good bands!

Anne Bancroft was excellent as Mrs. Robinson. The whole cast in general was pretty excellent...that's not something you can say often about a film.

I've been trying to find this movie since forever, hopefully someday I'll get to actually see it. Great song and video!!
