Emigrate - Emigrate (Album: Emigrate, 2007) [ There's a lot of "Emigrate" here, no? =.=' ] Eagle flies across a flag Bureaucracy is such a drag Behold a pale horse tonight The men in black are out of sight She comes He comes We come She comes Across the oceans in my mind Across the skies I left behind A land of opportunity A land to fill my destiny Emigrate Emigrate Emigrate Emigrate I've been alone a long, long time So what, I take what should be mine I've searched the sea of empty eyes And severed all my family ties A mercenary feeds my soul A plastic world, no getting old A monkey wears the age-old crown The other monkeys getting down She comes He comes We come She comes Welcome Emigrate Emigrate Emigrate Emigrate Emigrate Walk through fear Leave you, dear Never wanted to create a tear Walk through fear If you dare Emigrate Emigrate Emigrate Emigrate Emigrate.

Donʼt refer to Emigrate as a side project; Richard is clear that this band is a new project that exists on its own outside of the work he continues to do with his more well-known band. While the comparisons to Rammstein are inevitable, Emigrate can be described as a tighter, more streamlined and straightforward, with a hard rock edge that some listeners may prefer to the grandiose sounds of Rammstein.

In 2005, Rammsteinʼs Richard Z took a much-needed year off from touring and recording after over a decade of nearly constant work. But as is the case of many musicians, itʼs difficult to just walk away from music entirely for an extended time period. During this hiatus from his internationally-acclaimed band, Richard put together a solo project heʼd been envisioning since 2001, hired Olsen Involtini (rhythm guitar), Arnaud Giroux (bass), and Henka Johansson (drums), and called it Emigrate.

this is straight from the ESP website..
