rhombi33, we know the song is about John's affair, but thanks for the witty way in construing this fact. It is also, according to paul, a joke about the kind of walls in Peter Asher(Jane Asher's brother)'s house.

Hmmm, if being a bitch is someone quoting an artist to alleviate many concerns people seem to have about the song, then yes, I am a bitch. However, if a bitch is somebody who comes onto youtube and bashes people without any basis, and most likely, an incredible lack of knowledge, then YOU sir are the bitch.

Yeah, I hear ya. The outrage to a song of that sort wouldve been wild at that time. And as you said, in his humorous way, he picked two words that sounded much like the original - They also had a very "day-to-day" meaning at that time in England. Perfect disguise John, well done.

The original lyrics to the song were "I knew she would" rather than Norwegian Wood, but due to censorship (who reckoned the words were to provocative in the context of the song) John Lennon was forced to change them...and In his typical humorous way he just put in a sentance that rhymed ...and it actually doesnt mean anything. As for your reasons for the actual song being written I dunno, but i don't dowt you;)
