Feel sorry? So that means you feel sorry for persons like Tim Burton, too? I will tell you what was the point of the ending: make it original and humoristic. It's called black humor. If it was like you say, all pink and cute, I would ask, what was the point of it? There are tons of cartoons about cute monsters becoming friends with kids. That's already boring. And yes, black humor comes from the knowledgement that the situation is highly probable (I mean, probable in the case of being possible)

Hahaha, why? I doubt she could use anybody's pity. It's a fun piece; not very dark (just my opinion there).

A nice cartoon until the end - I don't see what was the point in ending it so cold and violent. I feel sorry for the person who thought this up.
