I'm very interested in the live performances. I heard about Scheer through tv-report in 1996 about their live performance in our town. It's a shame I didn't know them a few weeks earlier so I missed the chance to see them live around my corner...

I should upload the stuff I got from a PBS show called "On the Road". I'll have to dig it out a bit, but in order for people to see how good these guys were live, I feel obligated, sort of, because no one else seems to have it. I also finally got a DVD recorder with a disc drive and USB port, so it should be easier now that I don't have to use my camcorder to convert to digital. The footage consists of live performances of "I Wish You Were Dead" and "Sad Loved Girl" (from "Infliction").

fantastic song and band but she totally sold out singing that techno dance shit.

I must agree, this song rules. The techno sucks.

"Techno dance shit"??? What are you talking about??? They never had any synthesizers, they have two hard rock lead guitarists that play brilliantly together, generating a fucking gorgeous wall of noise.
And they've described themselves as "Pantera in bedroom slippers", which I can totally see. Do they possibly have some techno-shit I haven't heard?

O.K., I spoke too soon, she did get into that shit! I watched "Big Sky", and it not only blows stylistically, but she fucked up at the beginning. She never would have done that in Scheer, at least not way back when I saw them open for Lush. She used her voice as an instrument with those guys, and I thought "Finally" was a masterpiece largely because of her vocals.
I guess you gotta pay the bills, which is what I thought when Colleen Fitzpatrick became(shudder)Vitamin C.

Big Sky is not that bad. In fact I'm glad she's back again at all after so many years we heard nothing from Audrey.
But it was predictable that she would end up in electronic music after the end of Scheer and her project with Neal called Lima.
If anyone is interested I did upload a further song from Infliction called Sad Loved Girl.
